Heavy-Lift Cargo Drone From Canada Targets ‘Complex’ Military Supply Routes

Canadian aerospace firm Volatus has launched a new heavy-lift drone program, introducing the gasoline-powered Condor XL for long-range cargo missions.

The drone is designed for logistical operations in remote or hard-to-reach locations. It can carry up to 180 kilograms (397 pounds), reach speeds of 120 kilometers (74.6 miles) per hour, and operate within a 200-kilometer (124-mile) range.

It can be used to transport gear to frontline units, deliver communications equipment, or carry medical aid for emergency response.
