Germany Unveils Torpedo-Launched USVs for Stealthy ISR, One-Way Strikes

German submarine tech firm Gabler has unveiled its latest concepts for uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), intended for submarine-launched ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) and one-way strike missions. 

The Ranger is the company’s new reusable ISR solution, equipped with real-time surveillance capabilities and engineered to allow submarines to launch it without exposing its crew to danger.

Meanwhile, the Raider is Gabler’s pitch for single-use tactical missions, aimed at neutralizing high-value targets while steering clear of risks.
