England-based XRC Robotics has secured a contract to supply its RHINO unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to the British Army as the service expands testing of autonomous systems for frontline operations.
The platform aligns with the UK government’s “Design and Build British” initiative, which seeks to protect domestic supply chains, production know-how, and intellectual property.
XRC specialists will support army trials at dedicated testing sites, helping accelerate the transition from development and production to operational deployment.
